Our principals are experienced in all aspects of long-term care, including operations, clinical, administration, data management, training and education, and ongoing research.
My InnerView founder and President, NEIL GULSVIG, has 29 years of experience
in the nursing home industry. Beginning as an administrator, he has extensive knowledge in human resources, communications and operations. Gulsvig served as senior operations manager responsible for more than 300 nursing homes throughout the country. He also developed and instituted the satisfaction survey process for a major long-term care provider.
SANDRA POTTHOFF, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Healthcare Management and Director of the Master of Healthcare Administration Program in the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Her research interests include quality management in long-term care and healthcare outcomes research. She has conducted research on quality management practices in long-term care funded by the National Science Foundation, and teaches at the University of Minnesota in the long-term care pre-licensure program.
JANICE GULSVIG, R.N., B.S.N., is a registered nurse with 34 years of experience in healthcare, 26 of which have been spent in long-term care management. She is licensed as a nursing home administrator and has achieved notable success in both the for-profit and not-for profit sectors. She has also served as director of nursing services in both rural and urban markets.
LESLIE A. GRANT, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Healthcare Management in the Division of Health Policy Management and Director of the Center for Aging Services Management at the University of Minnesota. His research interests include organizational innovation in long-term care, health services research, and environment and aging. Dr. Grant is Director of the Center for Aging Services Management. He has current research grants from The Commonwealth Fund, the U.S. Administration on Aging, and the Alzheimer's Association. He is co-developer of our survey tools.

TELLIS-NAYAK, Ph.D., Vice President, Research, has conducted and led academic
and applied research nationally and internationally, including the United
States, India, The Bahamas, Ireland and Argentina. He has done research
for the Gerontological Society of America, the Illinois Department of Public
Aid, the Illinois Hospital Association, the Joint Commission of Accreditation
of Healthcare Organizations, and Joint Commission International. He has
pioneered research with a national scope in quality of care outcomes in
long-term care, and he is co-developer of our survey tools.
